RAGI PEANUT LADOO

Ingredients Table
INGREDIENTS AMOUNT
Ragi flour 2 cups (200 grams)
Peanuts 2 cups (200 grams)
Melted ghee 3/4 of 1 cup
Jaggery 2 cups (200 grams) (As per taste)
Cardamom seeds 5-6
Recipe

METHOD:

  1. Take a pan and roast the ragi flour until you get a fresh aroma. Keep it aside.
  2. Then, roast the peanuts until they are golden or brownish.
  3. Now grind the roasted peanuts and 5-6 cardamom pods in a grinder.
  4. And now add powdered jaggery to the ragi flour and mix it well.
  5. Combine the peanut powder and ragi flour in a bowl and mix it well.
  6. Then add melted ghee to the mixture.
  7. Roll the mixture into desired shapes and store it in an airtight container.
HEALTH BENEFITS:
It is considered as the strongest food for babies as it is rich in calcium and makes them strong. Ragi is also high in fiber which makes you full for a long time. Peanuts are high in protein and it is a nutrient rich snack as it also contains various B vitamins.
