Carrot Ginger soup

Oil 1 tsp
Onion (chopped) 1 small size
Carrots (chopped) 700 grams
Ginger 2 small pieces
Turmeric 2 tsp
Garlic cloves 2 tsp
Water 1 cup
Salt As per taste
Coriander leaves For garnish
Lime juice For garnish
Green chili For garnish
Recipe

METHOD:

  1. Heat oil in a pan over medium heat. Add onion and carrots. Let them cook for 8-10 minutes. Stir occasionally.
  2. Cut ginger and garlic into small pieces. Now add ginger, salt, turmeric, and garlic in the pan. Mix well and stir occasionally.
  3. Now pour some water and bring it to a boil. Simmer for 10 minutes until carrots are tender.
  4. Allow the soup to settle down.
  5. Transfer this soup to a bowl and garnish it with chopped green chili, lime juice, and coriander leaves.
  6. Serve immediately.
