Leftover rice pancakes

Leftover rice 1/2 cup
Wheat flour 2 tbsp
Besan 2 tbsp
Vegetables of choice 1/4 cup
Turmeric powder 1/4 tsp
Red chilli powder 1/4 tsp
Salt As per taste
Oil
Recipe

METHOD:

  1. In a bowl, add the leftover rice, wheat flour, besan and mix it together.
  2. Then add the vegetables, turmeric powder, red chilli powder, salt and water to adjust consistency.
  3. Next heat a pan, put some oil and add the batter.
  4. Cook well on both sides and serve it with chutney.

  5. Leftover rice is something we all have at home. These pancakes are just a mix of most of the ingredients which are readily available at home and can be made a little crispy and enjoyed with some chutney as a swap for bhajias in this season.

    Leftover rice are a good source of probiotics which helps maintain a healthy gut which is something we need to maintain most specifically during this season.
