CUCUMBER SLICES WITH HUMMUS

Ingredients Table
INGREDIENTS AMOUNT
Cooked Chickpeas 1 and a half cup (150 grams)
Roasted sesame seeds 2 tbsp (30 grams)
Lemon juice 1 small lemon
Olive oil 2 tbsp (30 grams)
Garlic 5-6 cloves
Salt As per taste
Curd 2 tbsp (30 grams)
Oregano paprika (OPTIONAL) As per taste
Water As required
Recipe

METHOD:

  1. Add cooked chickpeas, roasted sesame seeds, lemon juice, olive oil, garlic, salt, curd, oregano, paprika, and water (as required) in a grinder and make a paste.
  2. Check the consistency. It should be a thickened liquid.
  3. Now serve this with cucumber slices.
  4. Hummus can be stored in an airtight container for 3-4 days.

IChickpeas are high in protein. Excellent source of protein especially for vegetarians. This recipe can also be used as a post workout snack along with toasted bread.
