CRUNCHY GRANOLA BARS

Ingredients Table
INGREDIENTS AMOUNT
Dates 1 cup (100 grams)
Honey 1 tbsp (15 grams)
Peanut butter / almond butter 1 and a half tbsp (15 grams)
Roasted almonds 1 cup
Roasted oats 1 and a half cup
Dried cranberries / Raisins (OPTIONAL) As per taste
Recipe

METHOD:

  1. Place the dates in a food processor and make a dough-like consistency (small pieces will remain).
  2. Roast the oats in a pan (optional).
  3. Now place the oats, almonds, and dates in a large bowl and keep it aside.
  4. Then warm honey and peanut/almond butter in a saucepan and slowly add the above mixture in it. Stir this continuously.
  5. Place this mixture in a small pan and cover the pan with parchment paper so it doesn't get stuck. Press down very firmly so it gets flattened. Keep it in the fridge for 20 minutes.
  6. Once done, give desired shape to your bars.
  7. You can store these in an airtight container.

Almonds are high in Omega-3 and it is known as bone building food. It also reduces blood pressure. Cranberries help to lower the risk of Urinary tract infections. (UTI)
